Tehama County Animal Care Center

An all-volunteer organization called Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions (NCBCRA) dedicates their time and resources to finding new homes for border collies in need where they will be cherished and well-cared for.

Our founders understood that the resources of the city and the county could not support our mission of giving all animals who came through our doors a home and humane treatment.

With the goal of offering our community a low-cost spay/neuter voucher program to assist decrease the number of unwanted and unmodified cats and kittens, the S.N.A.P. (Spay Neuter and Protect) organization was founded in 2018. S.N.A.P.

We are a 501 c 3 non-profit organization in Palo Cedro, California, with committed volunteers that rescue animals from kill shelters' "death rows" (euthanasia lists).

Another Chance Animal Welfare League (ACAWL) is a group that rescues animals, primarily cats and dogs, and places them in loving, permanent homes. It is a no kill organization, thus any animals that are brought into the program remain there until they are adopted or they pass away.
