We are a small city-run pound/shelter with only five runs. City of Henderson Animal Shelter.

We are a municipal shelter with managed intake that collaborates with Animal Control to make Jackson a great environment for both people and their pets. We do not put animals to death because "their time is done" or due to lack of space, but we rely largely on the support of the local community and our rescue partners to make this mission attainable.

Dedicated to networking and saving dogs and cats from our neighborhood high kill shelter, Saving The Animals Together (S.T.A.T. We're asking you to assist us in rescuing these animals from the death row.

The services for rabies control include coordinating rabies vaccination clinics for animals across Madison County and enforcing Tennessee anti-rabies legislation pertaining to small animal management.

We adore creatures. We appreciate the lives of the animals in our care in addition to doing our best to prevent maltreatment of the animals in Hardin County.
