Dillon County Animal Shelter

Our organization's mission is to represent Marion County's dogs and cats, to meet each animal's medical and emotional needs while it is in our care, to reconnect lost and found pets with their owners, and to locate each pet a loving forever home while assisting in animal population management.

The Marlboro County Animal Shelter is run by the Humane Society of Marlboro County.

The Florence Area Humane Society recruits volunteers for daily assistance, foster homes, food and treats, kennels, and a variety of other services, while the City of Florence owns and manages the shelter.

The Florence Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit charitable organization that was established in 1974 to rescue and care for animals that have been abandoned, mistreated, or neglected in the Florence neighborhood.

The goal of the non-profit Darlington County Humane Society is to promote the humane treatment of dogs and cats throughout the county.
