The Florence Area Humane Society recruits volunteers for daily assistance, foster homes, food and treats, kennels, and a variety of other services, while the City of Florence owns and manages the shelter.

The Florence Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit charitable organization that was established in 1974 to rescue and care for animals that have been abandoned, mistreated, or neglected in the Florence neighborhood.

The goal of the non-profit Darlington County Humane Society is to promote the humane treatment of dogs and cats throughout the county.

Darling Harts Animal Rescue is a passionate organization focused on rescuing and rehabilitating pets in need. Our mission is to save animals from neglect, abuse, and abandonment, providing them with medical care, rehabilitation, and a loving environment. We work tirelessly to rehome our rescued pets, ensuring they find the perfect forever families.
