Darling Harts Animal Rescue is a passionate organization focused on rescuing and rehabilitating pets in need. Our mission is to save animals from neglect, abuse, and abandonment, providing them with medical care, rehabilitation, and a loving environment. We work tirelessly to rehome our rescued pets, ensuring they find the perfect forever families. With a team of devoted animal lovers, Darling Harts Animal Rescue also educates the community about responsible pet ownership and the importance of adoption. By supporting our rescue, you help us continue to offer a second chance at life for animals in need of love and care.

The Florence Area Humane Society recruits volunteers for daily assistance, foster homes, food and treats, kennels, and a variety of other services, while the City of Florence owns and manages the shelter.

The Florence Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit charitable organization that was established in 1974 to rescue and care for animals that have been abandoned, mistreated, or neglected in the Florence neighborhood.

The shelter and Friends of Lee County collaborate to save as many animals as possible.
