We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest degree permitted by law. We are a no-kill shelter that does not discriminate against breeds. We are the only shelter in our county that accepts both cats and dogs.

Operation SNIP was originally known as Troy Trap-Neuter-Return, a project to capture, neuter, and release outdoor feral cats that were living in the abandoned structures and back alleyways of Troy, New York.

The Animal Control Department of the Town of Guilderland is in charge of several responsibilities for the entire Town, including making sure that all pets have the proper licenses and up-to-date vaccinations.

Our goal is to save the neighborhood's feral, unwanted, and stray cats and kittens. Additionally, we have rescued kittens and cats from the south from being put to death. We work to spread awareness of the value of spaying and neutering pets.

The goal of the Montgomery County SPCA is to protect, care for, and shelter stray, mistreated, and abandoned animals while also raising public knowledge of proper pet maintenance practices such as spaying and neutering.

Until they find their permanent homes, we bring our dogs into our homes and care for them as if they were our own.
