Animal Shelter-Schoharie Valley

A group of extremely close friends came together to form Forever Home Greyhound Adoptions in an effort to assist as many retired racers as they could. Our main goal as a nonprofit organization is to find the ideal Forever Home for the Greys.

Dogs in need of loving homes are rescued by Help Orphan Puppies, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization made up entirely of volunteers. Our focus is on puppies with special needs, pregnant dogs, parents with nursing pups, and orphaned puppies.

The board members of Ayres Memorial Animal Shelter are crucial to maintaining the facility's efficiency and level of animal care. Our members are always striving to make Ayres even better. In order to save as many animals as possible and give them the greatest possible care and environment until they can find their forever homes, it is crucial to have a working board that genuinely supports the staff and volunteers.

The goal of the Montgomery County SPCA is to protect, care for, and shelter stray, mistreated, and abandoned animals while also raising public knowledge of proper pet maintenance practices such as spaying and neutering.

Operation SNIP was originally known as Troy Trap-Neuter-Return, a project to capture, neuter, and release outdoor feral cats that were living in the abandoned structures and back alleyways of Troy, New York.
