Darling Harts Animal Rescue is a passionate organization focused on rescuing and rehabilitating pets in need. Our mission is to save animals from neglect, abuse, and abandonment, providing them with medical care, rehabilitation, and a loving environment. We work tirelessly to rehome our rescued pets, ensuring they find the perfect forever families. The Marlboro County Animal Shelter is run by the Humane Society of Marlboro County.

The goal of the non-profit Darlington County Humane Society is to promote the humane treatment of dogs and cats throughout the county.

The shelter and Friends of Lee County collaborate to save as many animals as possible.

The Lancaster County Animal Shelter's main duty is to care for and house abandoned and stray animals. An animal becomes the property of Lancaster County and is made available for adoption to animal rescue organizations and the general public if it is not claimed following a 5-day stray hold. If your animal is brought to the shelter, there is a reclaim fee. To adopt from the shelter, you DO NOT need to live in Lancaster County.
