This park features modern agility equipment for all breeds of dogs, plenty of water throughout the summer, benches and sitting for people, and waste bags/cans easily located. The city must continue to invest in this area, particularly with regard to trees and the upcoming gazebo!

The 46-acre Yakima Space Arboretum has around 30 acres of lawn with trees, structures, and show gardens, as well as 15 acres of wild area.  The grounds are bordered on the west by Interstate 82, on the south by Highway 24/Nob Hill Blvd, on the north by Buchanan Lake, and on the east by the Yakima River.
