Shafer Park

The Town of Middletown in Frederick County owns the Remsberg Park, which is an 88-acre community recreational park in the planning stages. Remsberg Park is located between Middletown Parkway and Middletown Primary School, immediately off Holter Road.

Dr. Dillingham Park has a dog park to the left of the playground and skate park. It is somewhat more than a third of an acre in size, with 5,650 square feet for small dogs and 10,560 square feet for large dogs. It also has a communal pavilion, four benches, two garbage stations, and a double secured entry.

Seneca Creek State Park is a public recreation area in Montgomery County, Maryland that spans more than 6,300 acres along Seneca Creek's 14-mile journey to the Potomac River. Boating and fishing are available at the park, as well as hiking, cycling, and horseback riding routes.

A playground, picnic spots, and outdoor concerts are available at this 7-acre park beside the lake.
