Thornberry Off-Leash Dog Park in Iowa City is a pet-friendly entertainment facility. A separate space for tiny dogs, agility equipment and training area, and a doggy swimming pond are all included in this fenced dog park. The park requires a permit, but if you're only going for the day, they ask for a $5 donation, which can be paid on the honor system. Dogs are welcome to run around in the park as long as they clean up after themselves.

This 3-acre loose-leash dog park has separate fenced-in zones for little dogs under 25 pounds and large dogs over 25 pounds, which your canines will appreciate.

The Wendell Paws Dog Park features a fenced-in space for both large and small dogs, as well as plenty of trees to provide natural shade. The Hidden Oaks Dog Park is walled in and placed on an acre within the municipally owned Cub Creek Park, allowing your dog to run and play off-leash from sunrise to sunset. The fenced-in space is divided into two sections: one for large breeds and one for tiny breeds.
