Draper City just opened Dayland Dog Park, the city's first dog park. This park is a safe and fenced-in area with hills, water, grass, and dirt where your dogs can run free. There are two distinct zones in the park for both little and large dogs.

Galena Hills Dog Park, which opened in 2020, is a 3-acre enclosed park for off-leash dogs with dog exercise/play equipment and two picnic pavilions. This is directly northwest of the baseball diamonds in Galena Hills Park.
159. Tanner Park
Tanner Park does not have an official dog park, although dogs on leashes are permitted on the park's various paths (and you do see pups off-leash as well). The park descends into a gully, with a bridge at the bottom where many people let their dogs off leash to play in the creek. Please be cautious because the current is powerful. This isn't your normal dog park with a fence around it. It's like going for a hike in the woods. There are no restrooms or drinking fountains, so bring your own. A variety of bag and garbage stations are available. Please be advised that if you are not in good shape, the hike back up and out will be difficult.
