San Dimas Dog Park

San Dimas Dog Park is a one-acre dog park with two distinct gated spaces for large and small dogs, as well as drinking stations for dogs. This special grassy space allows our four-legged companions to socialize and exercise in a secure atmosphere without being restricted by leashes. It also provides an acceptable environment for elderly and disabled owners to exercise their pets.

The City will no longer offer doggie waste bags at neighborhood parks. Pooch Park, Rancho San Jose Park, Thompson Creek Trail, Padua Avenue Park, and Claremont Hills Wilderness Park have all had their doggie waste bag dispensers removed. Customers must bring their own doggie bags to the park. Please remember to clean up after your pets.

The Dog Park, which is located within Pantera Park, is divided into two sections: a 0.6-acre area for large dogs over 25 pounds, and a 0.3-acre space for little dogs under 25 pounds. A six-foot high chain link fence surrounds the enclosures, with self-closing double gate entries and exits to each section. A six-inch layer of wood fiber is laid down on the ground (similar to wooden chips that are used for playgrounds).
