Leashed dogs are welcome to accompany their owners on a historical promenade around Old Town San Diego State Historic Park, where visitors will learn about life in the 1820s-1870s. Visitors will experience the merging cultures of Mexico and the United States as they track San Diego's transformation from a Mexican pueblo to an American town through history. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and are not allowed inside.
