College Park

This off-leash dog park with friendly dogs and humans has a brook for dogs to play in. Just keep in mind that the area isn't fenced.

It all started with our puppy, Mya, and a passion for beer. That's why we decided to develop a safe, supervised space where people and their dogs can communicate, play, and let off steam.

A playground, baseball fields, dirt-bike tracks, picnic tables, and a dog park are all available at this relaxing refuge.

The name Founders Park comes from the fact that when the original settlement of Rapid City was being built out, the original "founders" camped on the site. Founders Park is around 60 acres in size, with the majority of the open area obtained following the 1972 Flood.
