Lighthouse Marine Park

Skallman Park is the main "off-leash" dog park in the city. The park, which is located next to the Blaine Public Works Department at 1200 Yew Avenue, has gated play areas for pets, a gazebo for pet owners to rest, and picnic tables. Grateful Dogs Off Leash Society assists with the management of the facility. At the park, there are pet waste bags and a garbage can.

Picnic areas, a swimming beach on Lake Whatcom, an off-leash dog area, and a playground are all available at this park.

With 70 acres to explore, the park is centrally placed and offers opportunity to escape into nature. Explore 1.5 miles of track through open fields and a mature forest canopy down by the brook.

Lake Padden Park in Bellingham, Washington, is a wonderful public park with a fenced off-leash dog run as well as unfenced areas where off-leash pets are allowed, including one with lake access.

Your pet is welcome to accompany you on the park's trails off-leash, but keep them away from the creek, which may be filthy. On the beach, pets must be leashed.

Because of its long beach, it is one of the greatest places to bring your dog because it is conveniently located on Marine Drive at Lindbergh Avenue in the Urban Growth Area. When at the beach, though, dogs must always be on a leash. On a warm day, you can go for a run or ride your bike with your dogs.
