Explore the Montezuma Well cenote trails at the Montezuma Castle National Monument with your dog. The path from the parking lot to the "well" is a loop, with stairs on one side (near the ranger's office) and is rather steep, while the other side (near the vault toilets) is longer but flatter. These two solutions are suitable for people and dogs of varied fitness levels.

The late-nineteenth-century frontier soldier's life is depicted in Fort Verde State Historic Park. Bring Petzooie along to explore historic buildings, learn from interpreters, and participate in living history displays throughout the year. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and are not allowed inside any structure.
