The Brutus Dog Park first opened its doors in September of 2012. River Street Park is where you'll find it. Friends of the Brutus Dog Park, a grassroots organization, raised almost $29,000 and brought the neighborhood together.

Nike Park, on Newport Road in Frenchtown, was bought from the federal government and was formerly part of a World War II Nike missile station.

At Orchard, Coney Island, Brighton, Midland, South, and Manhattan Beaches, leashed dogs are permitted on the boardwalk/promenade. Dog runs are huge, fenced-in areas where dogs can run about freely during park hours.

J.W. Wells State Park is a state park in Michigan, United States. The 678-acre park is located in Menominee County, approximately south of Cedar River, on the shores of Lake Michigan's Green Bay. It's about halfway between Menominee and Escanaba on M-35. In 2002, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
