Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Juanita Cooke Greenbelt Trail, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Fullerton! The trailhead for the Juanita Cooke Greenbelt Trail is shown on the map below.

For the children and families of Hermosa Drive Elementary and the neighboring neighborhood, Hermosa Park provides a fantastic play and picnic place. The emergency vehicle-themed play area will appeal to children, while the huge sports field is excellent for most leisure and sporting activity.

This quiet park featuring sports fields, picnic tables, and pathways welcomes leashed pets to join you for a stroll.

The Fullerton farmers market is well-known for being dog-friendly, as long as your companion remains on a leash. While enjoying live entertainment, shop for fresh fruit, baked foods, and arts & crafts. There's also a beer garden outside! Fullerton Market has Dog Days once a season, with vendor stalls, prizes, and live music dedicated to dogs.

This well-kept, grassy off-leash dog park is fully enclosed and equipped with running water and water bowls, as well as lighting for nighttime use and a pleasant community of regulars. A little dog area, a large dog area, and a third "wood chip" area are all open to all dogs at Pooch Park. All dogs and their owners are welcome as long as they obey the rules and pick up after their pets. Every Wednesday, the Fullerton Pooch Park is closed to the public for routine maintenance.
