The Village at Corte Madera

The Larkspur Path (Corte Madera-Larkspur Path) is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building a nationwide network of trails from abandoned rail lines and connecting corridors. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Corte Madera! When registering, all dog park visitors must present proof of their dog's rabies, Bordetella, Distemper vaccination (DHLPP), and spay/neuter. The fee covers one year of membership for up to three dogs and is $40.00 for locals and $55.00 for non-residents. A secure access system is in place, with members being given a passcode to enter.

Trails lead into the redwoods from a tranquil area. Because there are houses between the woods and the roadway, it is safe to let your dog off the leash. Many dogs will be off leash, however mountain bikers should be avoided.
