Benicia Dog Park

This completely gated 2.2-acre dog park features a beautifully manicured interior, water fountains, a separate little dog section, and plenty of large, grassy places to play on.

Thousands of dogs (and dog owners!) in Martinez are in need of a safe, open, public space to play, interact, and exercise. We are a group of Martinez residents who have been collaborating with Martinez City Council to create a beautiful dog park.

It's a lovely park with some lovely scenery. There are separate spaces for large and little dogs. The tiny dog area is primarily decomposed granite and concrete, whereas the huge dog area is on a hill with wood chips, concrete, and tiered drops produced by landscaping timbers. With the winds coming in from the bay area, this area is known to be very breezy and cold at times, so bring a jacket just in case.

The American Canyon Dog Park is a modest, enclosed dog park with well-kept grass and free waste bags.

These private wine excursions are dog-friendly and are led by a certified dog trainer who will take you and your dog up for a tour of Napa or Sonoma Valley. Enjoy visiting vineyards that your guide has personally selected, or have your guide give you insider tips on the best local wineries to include on your itinerary. The rate for two people is $65 per hour from the time you are picked up to the time you are dropped off, with a 4-hour minimum. Add $10 per hour per person for additional guests.

Paso Nogal Dog Park has separate sections for small and large dogs, grass and dirt, water stations, tables for humans, shade trees, and friendly regulars.
