Skyline Regional Park welcomes pets. The southern White Tank Mountains are home to this 8,700-acre mountain preserve. There are various pet-friendly trails to explore with your leashed dog in the park. The park is open to the public for free. From sunrise to sunset, walk the paths with your dog. At 10 p.m., the gates close.

Sundance Dog Park

Sundance Park offers two leash-free zones. One is for huge dogs, while the other is for tiny dogs. There is plenty of grass and water for dogs to drink, as well as some obstacles for dogs of all sizes. Every Wednesday, the Dog Park is closed for repair and reopens to the public at 2 p.m.

White Tank Mountain Regional Park

This incredibly lovely public park welcomes leashed pets. Take a trek out into the desert to a desert waterfall. This is Maricopa County's largest regional park, with about 30,000 acres. The rugged and magnificent White Tank Mountains on the Valley's west side make up the majority of the park.

Estrella Mountain Regional Park

Dogs on leashes are welcome to enjoy the park's desert and mountain paths. In 1954, the Maricopa County Park System established the first regional park on these 19,840 acres of desert and mountains. The park has a seasonal wetland or riparian region during our winter and monsoon rains, and is located near the confluence of the Gila and Agua Fria Rivers in the southwest Valley. The majority of the park is still desert, with a topography that resembles that of the earliest settlers and explorers.
