This park is ideal for a day or more spent in nature, with 37 campsites, a sandy beach, cove, boat launch area, ramada, and trails. Petzooie is invited to join you on the beach to the east of the boat ramp. At all times, dogs must be leashed and supervised.

Buckskin Mountain State Park in Parker, Arizona, is a dog-friendly state park with one of the best vistas of the Colorado River along the Parker strip, an 18-mile length between Parker Dam and Headgate Dam. On both the Arizona and California banks of the river, mountains flank the river, and the wildlife is as diverse as the recreational opportunities. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and are free to roam the campgrounds.
