Humane Society of Marion County Arkansas

We work to find great homes for animals in North Central Arkansas who have been abandoned so that they can live out their lives as members of the family.

With a focus on the canine and feline populations, the Humane Society's mission and policies are to safeguard, care for, and reduce the number of abandoned, homeless, unwanted, or abused animals in Baxter County and a 25-mile radius around it.

The Ozark Humane Society's goal is to rescue local homeless and abandoned dogs and cats and provide them a temporary home. By providing a safe haven until each animal can be paired with their ultimate family, we hope to save these animals.

The 501(c)3 Stone County Humane Society, Inc. was established in 1999 with the goal of rehoming stray and abandoned dogs and cats. After three years, it became clear that a permanent shelter building was necessary, and fundraising efforts were launched.

We are a volunteer-run page committed to working with VBCAC to improve the community as a whole.

We do everything we can to help, whether it's teaching the neighborhood about spaying and neutering their pets or taking care of abandoned animals in our animal shelter.
