Good Shepherd Humane Society

In the late 1980s, a group of local residents who were worried about the county's stray cats and dogs started a grassroots initiative to establish a shelter for abandoned pets.

The Lowell Humane Society puts forth great effort to stop cruelty, care for stray and hurt animals, and inform people about responsible pet ownership.

The purpose of Rogers Animal Services is to preserve animal welfare, ensure that city rules and ordinances are upheld, remove stray animals from the streets, monitor bite incidents, and save lives through pet adoptions at the Rogers Animal Shelter.

Through top-notch services including pet identification clinics, humane education, transport, adoption, and foster care, we hope to preserve homeless animals and improve the local discussion on animal welfare.

The goal of Springdale Animal Services is to offer refuge and care to the tens of thousands of stray, neglected, mistreated, and abandoned animals who are in need each year.

On March 19, 2019, a few local girls remarked, "We can do this," and that was when it all began. We had the drive and knowledge to take a chance since we could see a need in the neighborhood. We lacked donors, very little cash in the bank, and a clear understanding of what was ahead.
