The Humane Society is pleased to report that our survival rate is currently above 90%. The Humane Society of Carroll County has carefully worked over the past two years to commit to our new purpose and vision.

The Baltimore Humane Society is a stand-alone non-profit animal shelter that provides services for all phases of pet ownership. The group works assiduously to assist homeless animals obtain the required medical care, behavioral training, and, finally, a loving forever home.

We want to save as many animals as we can! We take in stray, neglected, and abused canines, felines, pups, and kittens.

We ensure there is a caregiver who can watch over them and provide food by trapping, neutering, and then returning (TNR) wild or feral cats to their "home."

The Feline Rescue Association is a group of cat-loving volunteers who collaborate to give cats and kittens in Baltimore and the surrounding areas love, food, shelter, and medical attention.

The organization's goal is to drastically reduce the number of abandoned and euthanized pets and shelter animals while also improving their conditions.
