Our mission is to provide assistance to people and animals in need. Our reach is extensive, and we always try to be helpful.

The Animal Control Department is in charge of upholding the animal-related state laws of Connecticut.

Enforce all national, state, and municipal regulations in relation to complaints about rabid wildlife, roaming dogs, barking dogs, animal attacks, nuisances, and violations of the law.

AaTs (animal assisted therapy services) offers children and adults with physical, cognitive, or psychosocial disabilities the chance to experience the therapeutic benefits of the special human/animal bond, thereby promoting long-term health and wellness.

Provides services for both cat and dog adoption, and anyone interested should visit the shelter during business hours to see the animals that are available and to fill out an application.

One of Connecticut's actual no-kill shelters is us. We provide a home for abandoned dogs and cats that are up for adoption.
