Springfield Animal Control

A county organization called Robertson County Animal Control is in charge of taking in stray and/or unwanted household animals.

We are a very tiny 501c3 foster home-based cat rescue that concentrates on both healthy cats and kittens and cats with special needs. Note that we DO NOT accept dogs.

The Humane Society of Sumner County (HSSC) is a tiny, private, non-profit (501c3) service group that advocates for the compassionate care of displaced, lost, and abandoned animals.

Before arriving to The Catio, all cats and kittens are rescued from Nashville Cat Rescue. The Catio does not directly consume cats.

With a low-cost veterinary clinic and grooming salon, Safe Place for Animals (SPA) is a 501c3 nonprofit, no-kill animal rescue shelter and pet adoption center.

Our goal is to serve as an alternative to shelters for animals that, through no fault of their own, are in danger of being homeless. In an effort to keep pets in their homes, we work with owners and their animals to ascertain their needs.
