The mission of All 4 Animals Rescue, INC is to compassionately reduce the number of homeless and unwanted animals in the Michiana region through spaying and neutering, adoption, and public awareness.

Through the compassionate treatment of animals and community education, to foster respect for all life and to strengthen the relationship between humans and animals.

Initially, the mission of Heartland Small Animal Rescue was to rescue small pocket pets from shelters, including rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small & furry animals, and place them in loving homes through our established adoption program.

In addition to running the county animal shelter, we offer animal control services to all of La Porte County's unincorporated areas.

Each month, the HSEC looks into an average of 100 reports of animal cruelty or neglect. The HSEC team supports law enforcement organizations during every stage of the legal system, from inquiry to prosecution.
