Shawano County Humane Society

The mission of KAHR is to enhance the welfare of the animals residing on the Menominee Indian Reservation in Keshena, Wisconsin. Our goal is to help pet owners give their animals a secure, loving home through support and education.

Every animal that comes into our care has an agreement with us. Whether it be through adoption or as a member of our family at the Sanctuary, each one is assured a devoted home for the rest of their lives.

Welcome! 501(c3) non-profit Saving Paws Animal Rescue Inc. is a no-kill animal rescue that is staffed entirely by volunteers.

Since its inception in 2015, Lucky 7 Dog Rescue has operated as a nonprofit, volunteer-run, and foster-based animal rescue. We support dogs in need both locally and nationally, and we think that working together with other rescue organizations and people may benefit both animals and the people who care about them.

A 501(c)3 no-kill cat sanctuary and rehabilitation facility, Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary saves cats with unique needs. We are currently able to welcome a few dogs as well!
