Pecos Animal Control

The Kermit Animal Shelter is 20 miles from Jal, New Mexico in rural West Texas. The goal of this group is to connect and share information about these rural pound dogs in order for them to find a forever home and avoid an unavoidable demise.

The Humane Society of Odessa's goals are to stop animal abuse, alleviate suffering, and educate the local population. The goal is to offer all animals in need of protection with compassionate care and treatment, with a focus on finding suitable homes for animals who have no relatives. In order to help the animals in our care until they may find their forever families, we want to offer a safe, cozy, and happy environment.

Use the shelter line strictly for questions regarding adoption, cremation, lost or found pets, surrenders, and volunteering.

Big Bend Pets safeguards the general populace's health, lowers the euthanasia rate, maintains the limited resources of shelters, and eliminates the cat overpopulation in the Big Bend area. We are committed to putting long-term, humane solutions in place to drastically lower the number of unaltered, stray, and/or abandoned cats.

A unit of the Odessa Police Department, the Odessa Animal Shelter serves as a transitional home for stray, lost, found, and sick or injured cats and dogs.

A refuge for senior dogs and dachshunds in need of medical attention. We occasionally have healthier, younger puppies available for adoption.
