Through adoption, outreach, education, and rescue, we hope to create a more humane community.

Pets Alive is a no-kill animal shelter that is about 1 1/2 hours from New York City in the Catskill Mountains foothills. One of the first no-kill groups in the US is Pets Alive.

Goshen Humane Society faces funding problems because it is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization. We receive about one-fourth of the funding that most shelters receive, in relation to other communities.

A family-run, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Hollywood Dog Rescue works to place puppies from various organizations that are thought to operate high-kill or overcrowded shelters.

The Humane Society of Walden's employees and volunteers have been giving numerous companion animals high-quality care as they wait for their permanent homes since the organization's founding in 1974.

The Sullivan County SPCA Animal Shelter is a No-Kill facility that places animals in devoted, lifelong homes.
