An all-volunteer, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) cat rescue and rehabilitation group, A Paw in the Door. We work in our neighborhood to give homeless cats a safe haven, care, foster homes, and adopted homes.

A humane, nonprofit organization called Maine Greyhound Placement Service is committed to helping retired racing Greyhounds who are unable to compete on racetracks find caring, responsible homes.

15. Miles to Freedom Animal Rescue

A non-profit, no-kill animal rescue group is called Miles To Freedom Animal Rescue. Our goal to help the stray cat population in the places we serve while also saving dogs from overcrowded shelters and locations around the southern United States.

In order to find them forever families, we rescue adoptable dogs from death shelters across the nation and give them high-quality care in a special, homelike environment.

18. Paws animal welfare society animal rescue

A nonprofit organization called Paws Animal Welfare Society, Inc. (PAWS) saves stray cats in Aroostook County, Maine's St. John Valley. Until we are able to place the cats in suitable homes, we offer them refuge.
