Houlton Humane Society

A small shelter in Presque Isle, Maine called Central Aroostook Humane Society takes in unwanted, mistreated, neglected, and abandoned animals for Presque Isle, Caribou, and neighboring towns in Aroostook County.

Our purpose is to rescue and rehabilitate cats and kittens from Caribou and the nearby areas who are not accepted by other local shelters.

The goal of PAWS, a tax-exempt 501C3 nonprofit organization, is to fight for the humane treatment of all animals while also providing and promoting compassionate care for dogs and cats in Washington County.

A nonprofit organization called Paws Animal Welfare Society, Inc. (PAWS) saves stray cats in Aroostook County, Maine's St. John Valley. Until we are able to place the cats in suitable homes, we offer them refuge.
