Central Aroostook Humane Society

Our purpose is to rescue and rehabilitate cats and kittens from Caribou and the nearby areas who are not accepted by other local shelters.

The Houlton Humane Society's goals are to stop cruelty to animals, promote humane treatment of them, and educate the public about it. The refuge works to help and comfort companion animals that have been abandoned, neglected, or strayed.

A nonprofit organization called Paws Animal Welfare Society, Inc. (PAWS) saves stray cats in Aroostook County, Maine's St. John Valley. Until we are able to place the cats in suitable homes, we offer them refuge.

The goal of PAWS, a tax-exempt 501C3 nonprofit organization, is to fight for the humane treatment of all animals while also providing and promoting compassionate care for dogs and cats in Washington County.

Sheltering, adoption, informational outreach, spay/neuter, and adoption are just some of the ways that Give a Dog a Home Rescue assists animals in need
