Sullivan Sanctuary of Maine

Every year, we care for and give second chances to close to 3,500 animals while also helping hundreds more through our programming.

A nonprofit animal shelter, Midcoast Humane assists roughly 3500 animals annually and serves 39 municipalities in Midcoast Maine.

"In a typical year, Midcoast Humane cares for and finds homes for nearly 3,500 stray, surrendered, and abandoned animals. We service 39 Maine municipalities, from Falmouth to Somerville, a distance of 1,000 miles. We operate two campuses: one at 5 Industrial Parkway in Brunswick and the other at 27 Atlantic Highway in Edgecomb.

An all-volunteer, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) cat rescue and rehabilitation group, A Paw in the Door. We work in our neighborhood to give homeless cats a safe haven, care, foster homes, and adopted homes.

With facilities in Brunswick and Edgecomb, Maine, Midcoast Humane (previously Coastal Humane Society and Lincoln County Animal Shelter) provides care and adoption services for 3,500 stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals annually.

The Greater Androscoggin Humane Society provides a haven for stray animals and serves as a resource for locals and their four-legged friends. We support treating all animals with kindness, compassion, and humaneness.
