Greater Androscoggin Humane Society

A non-profit, no-kill animal rescue group is called Miles To Freedom Animal Rescue. Our goal to help the stray cat population in the places we serve while also saving dogs from overcrowded shelters and locations around the southern United States.

A nonprofit animal shelter, Midcoast Humane assists roughly 3500 animals annually and serves 39 municipalities in Midcoast Maine.

"In a typical year, Midcoast Humane cares for and finds homes for nearly 3,500 stray, surrendered, and abandoned animals. We service 39 Maine municipalities, from Falmouth to Somerville, a distance of 1,000 miles. We operate two campuses: one at 5 Industrial Parkway in Brunswick and the other at 27 Atlantic Highway in Edgecomb.

While they wait for their new forever homes, homeless cats and dogs can find comfort and love at Responsible Pet Care Shelter & Adoption. We are a non-profit, 501c3 no-kill shelter and adoption facility for cats and dogs.
