Midcoast Humane - Edgecomb Campus

An all-volunteer, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) cat rescue and rehabilitation group, A Paw in the Door. We work in our neighborhood to give homeless cats a safe haven, care, foster homes, and adopted homes.

"Sullivan Sanctuary of Maine believes that our strength rests not only in the words we stand for, but most importantly through the deeds of our initiatives. Sullivan Sanctuary is dedicated to providing secure, comfortable housing for all animals in need.

Every year, we care for and give second chances to close to 3,500 animals while also helping hundreds more through our programming.

A nonprofit animal shelter, Midcoast Humane assists roughly 3500 animals annually and serves 39 municipalities in Midcoast Maine.

"In a typical year, Midcoast Humane cares for and finds homes for nearly 3,500 stray, surrendered, and abandoned animals. We service 39 Maine municipalities, from Falmouth to Somerville, a distance of 1,000 miles. We operate two campuses: one at 5 Industrial Parkway in Brunswick and the other at 27 Atlantic Highway in Edgecomb.

We think that by fostering the link between animals and people, we can build a kinder society. Our goal is to improve lives by finding adoptive homes for animals so they can flourish in an environment of kindness and care.
