Kennebec Valley Humane Society

A humane, nonprofit organization called Maine Greyhound Placement Service is committed to helping retired racing Greyhounds who are unable to compete on racetracks find caring, responsible homes.

A non-profit, charity organization known as P.A.L.S. started as a no-kill cat shelter in 1980. This nonprofit is not financed by the government. P.A.L.S. funded by membership fees, fundraising efforts, tribute gifts, contributions, and bequests. We really need your assistance.

HSWA has provided a shelter for animals in need since 1970. The animal's quality of life is always our priority. We are an open-admission, high adoption institution.

With facilities in Brunswick and Edgecomb, Maine, Midcoast Humane (previously Coastal Humane Society and Lincoln County Animal Shelter) provides care and adoption services for 3,500 stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals annually.

The Greater Androscoggin Humane Society provides a haven for stray animals and serves as a resource for locals and their four-legged friends. We support treating all animals with kindness, compassion, and humaneness.

An all-volunteer, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) cat rescue and rehabilitation group, A Paw in the Door. We work in our neighborhood to give homeless cats a safe haven, care, foster homes, and adopted homes.
