Liberty City Animal Shelter

Animals that have been abandoned, discovered running loose, or who have been turned in by their owners are cared for and housed in the City of Mont Belvieu Animal Shelter.

A contract stating that you will sterilize and vaccinate your adopted animal against rabies must be signed in accordance with local and state laws. The deadline specified in your contract must be met for you to deliver the required veterinary documentation.

To assist in maintaining public safety in accordance with Animal Control's requirements by applying Animal Control regulations.

The non-profit, volunteer-run Paw Pact Rescue is dedicated to the welfare of animals. To ensure proper care and socialization, every animal in our care is fostered at home.

As part of the "One Health" project, Beaumont Pets Alive is an autonomous, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that strives to enhance animal health on a local and regional basis. By improving Beaumont's general health, we intend to continue assisting the community in raising awareness of animal welfare as a crucial component of the "One Health" movement and providing resources for Southeast Texas.

Animals inside the city borders are handled by the La Porte Police Department's Animal Control Division. The location of the animal refuge is 10901 Spencer Highway. The La Porte Police Department is in charge of allocating the Animal Control Officers.
