Kingston Animal Control

A non-profit animal welfare group called Friends of the Plymouth Pound (FPP) is committed to finding "forever homes" for rescued cats and dogs on the South Shore. The Friends, a nonprofit organization founded in 1984, and its devoted and compassionate volunteers have helped thousands of animals—both owned and stray—by offering assistance through the group's several initiatives, which include adoption, low-cost spay/neutering, and educational outreach.

An all-volunteer, neighborhood-based nonprofit organization called The Friends of the Marshfield, MA Animal Shelter, Inc. was founded in August 2015. We have a 501(c)3 public charity registration with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' Attorney General.

Furry Tails offers your cherished dogs the tender care and consideration they merit in a welcoming setting.

Our shelter reunites scores of abandoned dogs with their appreciative owners each year and provides homes for an average of more than 500 animals. Our pets come to us from all across the state and stay with us for however long they require. We do not, and we have never, euthanized animals in order to make room in the shelter.
