Scituate Animal Shelter of Massachusetts

The HSAR is a no-kill facility without cages. In their quarters, our cats and kittens are free to wander. They have fun together and with volunteers. They choose their own special spots for cat naps, such as the sun, a soft bed, or a cat tree. ​

An all-volunteer, neighborhood-based nonprofit organization called The Friends of the Marshfield, MA Animal Shelter, Inc. was founded in August 2015. We have a 501(c)3 public charity registration with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' Attorney General.

Strong, devoted volunteers from Standish take care of, feed, and socialize our kitties.

The Massachusetts Humane Society was established on June 7, 2004, as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is also a volunteer-run, no-kill organization.
