Duplin County Animal Control

Our volunteer foster homes are fostering lifelong relationships between animals in need and their furever human families.

The Cashiers-Highlands Humane Society has rescued, compassionately cared for, and located permanent homes for thousands of neglected and abandoned animals for more than 25 years.

The Sampson County Animal Shelter houses stray, homeless, quarantined, confiscated, abandoned or undesired animals. It is run by Sampson County Local Government in line with any applicable federal, state, local, and departmental laws, regulations, and policies.

Our goal is to reduce the euthanasia rate by collaborating with donations, volunteers, county shelters, local businesses, and people.

 As much as we can, we want to aid animals! Many people who experience unwantedness, unlove, forgetfulness, abuse, and neglect will understand what love is. We take dogs and puppies out of the local shelter.

The goal of Wayne County Animal Services is to strike a balance between the needs of people and animals in our county in terms of health, safety, and welfare. Through our mission, we hope to: raise awareness of responsible pet ownership among the general public; aggressively look into allegations of animal cruelty; reunite lost pets with their owners; show compassion and humane treatment for unwanted, stray, abused, and abandoned pets in our County; and provide adoptable pets with a second chance at finding a forever home.
