The goal of Wayne County Animal Services is to strike a balance between the needs of people and animals in our county in terms of health, safety, and welfare. Through our mission, we hope to: raise awareness of responsible pet ownership among the general public; aggressively look into allegations of animal cruelty; reunite lost pets with their owners; show compassion and humane treatment for unwanted, stray, abused, and abandoned pets in our County; and provide adoptable pets with a second chance at finding a forever home.
