Fulton Animal Control Shelter

The only animals accepted in the city-funded Grabb Animal Shelter are dogs and cats. There is space at our shelter for about 40 dogs and 20 cats. We regrettably do not provide no-kill shelter.

The oldest and largest non-profit, private no-kill shelter in Mid-Missouri is Callaway Hills Animal Shelter (CHAS).

Our aim is to find our animals loving, long-term homes through adoption. Our staff is available to assist you in selecting a pet that will be your ideal companion for life.

The Central Missouri Humane Society, in operation continuously since 1943, advocates for the welfare of companion animals, or pets that improve the lives of their owners.

Unchained Melodies, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with the EIN 47-5487625 that works to release chained or confined dogs and bring them into families' homes as companion animals. Tax deductions apply to your donation.

By fostering dogs of difficult-to-place breeds or those in need of medical care, we hope to lower the number of dogs in Missouri who are put down needlessly and get them ready for adoption into loving homes.
