The lives of animals in the Rio Grande Valley will only change if we pool our efforts. In Hidalgo County, about 50 animals are put to death every day for various reasons, including lack of space at the neighborhood adoption center, owner negligence, education, or being the victims of animal cruelty. There are many ways to support charities like United 4 Paws and speak up for these helpless animals, including volunteering, making a donation, reporting animal abuse, and raising awareness about pet spaying and neutering.
