Watauga Humane Society

The Watauga Humane Society was established on December 12th, 1969, to provide shelter, care, and adoption services for stray, unwanted, and abandoned animals. To maximize our efforts to save lives, we joined with Watauga County Animal Care and Control in 2011 and built a new facility. Since 1979, we have held our 501(c)(3) status, making all donations to WHS tax deductible.
