Laurens County Humane Society

Sasha Luna is who I am. In Laurens County, South Carolina, my house was a puppy mill. I've spent my entire life there, along with 107 hens and ducks and 147 other dogs just like me. There were a few "jumping dogs" as well; people referred to them as "rabbits."

The Humane Society of Greenwood: By using life-saving techniques, we fight for the rights of every animal in our care and serve as a community resource.

Through sheltering and adoption services, basic veterinary treatment, education about animal care, and advocacy for the creation and enforcement of animal abuse laws, the Union County Humane Society works to advance animal welfare.
