At Cat Around Town Project, we think that by surgically removing the sex organs of as many stray and colony cats as we can, we are actively preventing overpopulation. All kittens and adoptable cats are taken from the colonies and placed in good homes. Every kitten in our neighborhood will have a home waiting for them when supply and demand are balanced.

In order to make a difference in their neighborhood, Andrea Walker and a small but devoted group of animal rescuers established Fostering Foster Animal Rescue.

The Animal Protection League of SC was established in 1982 and is a 501(c)(3) charitable, non-profit, no-kill organization. Our mission has been to offer neglected and abandoned dogs and cats in the neighborhood a safe haven and to find them loving, long-term homes.

The shelter and Friends of Lee County collaborate to save as many animals as possible.
