Through our programs and community services, Michigan Humane is able to impact thousands of lives year thanks to your generosity. Without you, we can't transform lives.

The purpose of the Livingston County Animal Control and Shelter is to provide care, management, and resolution for issues involving domestic animals in the county.

An all-volunteer group called For the Love of Cats is committed to saving the lives and locating homes for homeless cats and kittens, both stray animals and those given up by their owners.

One of the rescues that aid homeless cats and kittens from a range of circumstances is South Mitten's Kittens. We save those we can and grieve those we can't, whether they are born outside, abandoned by their parents, given up by their owners, or lost.

The Huron Valley Humane Society has been helping the community, preserving animals, and assisting individuals. The only animal shelter in Washtenaw County, HSHV continues to accept all kinds of unwanted, harmed, lost, stray, abandoned, and mistreated animals.
